Prior to the start of the design of the facility, in order to achieve the optimal result, it is necessary to collect and process information about the facility, perform a system analysis, and develop a feasibility study for the feasibility of engineering work.

The purpose of the survey is to find out the current engineering condition of the facility, the presence of related infrastructure, the presence of external restrictions that must be taken into account when designing.

The tasks of the survey include:

• visit of a specialist to the object;
• collection of technical information and fixing it in the report  form;
• carrying out the necessary measurements;
• survey of technical personnel serving the facility;
